I can’t believe it’s Friday already! I’ve been so busy these past couple of weeks that this is the second week in a row that I’ve only managed to post on a Friday. But I’m not going into what I’ve been up to. Not yet anyway. I will reveal all in a week or two. For now though, I just wanted to share an outfit I wore last week. An outfit featuring the poncho hoodie that I bought in the sale right at the beginning of the summer.
I don’t really know what it’s called, so my description of a poncho hoodie will just have to do! It’s cool, isn’t it? I found it in Parfois just as the weather was warming up so that I couldn’t actually wear it for months. I’m delighted to get it out of my wardrobe now though, because I simply adore it! I had intended to share it in this week’s SIA post but I completely missed it. Bummer. Never mind.
I teamed the poncho hoodie with a pair of dark blue flared jeans, a plain black polo neck, my Ecco pointy trainers, statement necklace and a handbag from Desigual. But I reckon it will look good with a whole host of different outfit options. What do you think? How would you wear a poncho hoodie? And, do you actually know what it’s called?

I love this poncho hoodie! The classic black and white makes it even more versatile. Great find! Been a busy week here with kids activities (which I almost forgot) and having to take care of car trouble yesterday. I’m finishing up Christmas shopping and packing for the beach too. Thanks for the feature! I’ll be taking a little blog break next week to play in the sand.

You sound like you’re CRAZY busy, Mireille! But in the best way possible. Playing in the sand sounds wonderful right now. I spent the day at the beach last week with some friends. It was chilly(ish) so we were all dressed in jeans but it was just lovely to chill out that way, with the sound of the waves soothing us. Bliss! Have fun!

I think I would have bought that hooded poncho (great name for it) as well. I love black and white and boild print. And it must be so comfortable to wear.
