When I bought this oversized shirt a month (or so) ago, I figured I’d be wearing it only in the summer, on account of its’ short sleeves and linen fabric. But then I threw it on with my favourite chunky cardigan and culottes and loved it! I had a feeling that Michael would hate it but when I showed him, he thought it was pretty cool (although he did comment that he thought the shirt was too big lol). I said, it’s supposed to be—it’s an oversized shirt!
I bought it from H&M in the winter sale, and I loved the look of it so much, that I also bought a black one too. I didn’t actually try them on when they first arrived, I just hung them in the wardrobe. Admittedly, when I put the white one on first, I did think, ‘Uh Oh, it’s way too big’, until I accepted that it is an oversized shirt and it’s meant to look big (or should I say huge?!). Even if I don’t wear them much, I can always wear them over a swimsuit or bikini in August, right? I had a look on the H&M site to see if it’s still available but sadly, it’s not. Here’s one that’s similar though.
What do you think? Do you like to wear an oversized shirt? If so, how do you wear yours? Would you try it with culottes and knee high boots like this? I must admit that I felt pretty cool in this outfit, but the white knee high boots certainly help with that! Did you see them in my first Songful Style post a few weeks ago? They are rather fabulous, aren’t they?

It is a fun outfit! I really don’t wear overized tops much unless they are very oversized so that it is obvious that they are meant to be oversized. I think that blouse will have several uses to it was a good buy.

OMG, SUZY, I FREAKING LOVE THIS OUTFIT! Sorry for screaming it at you but I needed emphasis on those words. This top is similar to my long sleeved linen shirt dress that I love to wear over loose fitting trousers. I need to try it with culottes and heeled boots now! Safe travels, my friend. That looks pretty good! It works very well together. Surprising! I never wear oversized…… but……I have a long white blouse dress in the selling box. I might pull it out as I was thinking pairing it with a lot of gold!

Love the whole look. I wouldn’t have thought to pair the oversized top with the culottes, but it works. Nice. And those boots are so perfect.
Well, I think that is a really cool look, Suzy! I can see it with a red tie and a fedora, too! You have such striking looks you can pull off these kinds of funky yet stylish looks! And, those boots look pretty fab (on you…never on me…hahaha)!
