Swanning around in my goddess dress for the link-up

It’s almost two weeks since we were hit with Covid and I’m slowly getting better. I’m no longer positive which is fabulous, because that means we can finally continue with our plans and go and pick up my car from Germany YAY! For now though, I’ve spent the past ten days or so mooching around the house in my comfy PJs, not wearing a stitch of make-up. That has to change because I’m fed up of feeling and looking shitty. So, I’ve put on my goddess dress to swan around the house in an attempt to feel better.

I call it my goddess dress because it just has that Grecian goddess feel to it, don’t you think? The way it drapes around the body and with the twisty strap? It’s such an unusual dress—so different from anything I’ve had before. It’s actually quite old now. But it was gifted to me in the early days of my style blog, from Apricot in the UK. Even though I’m still not feeling hundred per cent, wearing this goddess dress does help me…just a little bit! It’s always good to get glammed up, even if you’ve got nowhere to go.

I styled it with my gladiator style sandals, for obvious reasons (!) and a cream necklace that also has those goddess vibes. Do you ever dress up just for the sake for it? And do you have anything that makes you feel goddess-like? Let me know in the comments, and link-up all your posts in this week’s Neverending Style link-up!

You look so beautiful in your goddess dress, my friend, despite having your arse kicked by Covid! I have been lounging around in my comfy leggings with miserable cramps all week. Today is the first time I have been dressed since Sunday! I hope you have a fabulous trip to pick up your car!

100% goddess look here, I love it…and I’d never guess you were recovering from an illness either! It’s nice when you can at least look great, even if you’re not feeling your best.

This dress looks amazing on you Suzy. I think sometimes, simple styles like this can say a lot. You can style that dress up so many ways xx

Oh, Suzy, you are definitely a goddess in this dress! I love the gladiator sandals, too! I do have a dress that makes me feel like a goddess…a rather Rubenesque goddess right now, though! I’m glad you’re feeling better, and I can’t wait to see the mystery car!! I’ll bet it’s just as fabulous as you! Thanks for the link up!

It does help doesn’t it, to dress up! But I do hope you can pick up your car real soon. So we can admire it!

Good to hear you are no longer positive and hope you get the energy back especially for your trip to Germany! And I don’t dress up every day but I always put on the makeup - that’s a thing I do without thinking every day without fail!

Have a lovely weekend and continue the recovery - you’ll get there 🙂

Glad you’re feeling better Suzy. Dressing up always feels extra nice when you’ve been poorly doesn’t it? I love the style of the dress and your necklace is perfect with it. Hope you’re having a great weekend!

You look goddess-fabulous! If you felt like you looked, you’d have goddess powers. I’m sorry recovery is so slow. Hopefully, the new car will make you feel better too. And yes, since the pandemic, I do dress up whenever the mood hits, whether I’m going somewhere or not.

No I haven’t got a goddess dress, but I do have clothes that make me feel good.
Your goddess dress obviously deserves its name.
